Why Toast isn't a fit:

Zero viable segments - all segments target healthcare and education food service operations (nursing homes, schools, hospitals) which are explicitly outside Toast's ICP. Toast's product analysis clearly states valid pain domains are 'Restaurants, bars, breweries, cafes, catering businesses, food trucks' and invalid domains include 'Healthcare facilities.' The segments identify real operational pains in institutional food service, but Toast's commercial restaurant POS platform (table management, online ordering, tip pooling, reservation systems) fundamentally does not address the needs of clinical/institutional food service (therapeutic diets, USDA compliance, patient meal ordering, clinical documentation). This is a product-market mismatch at the ICP level, not a fixable segment validation issue.
